Dinah doesn’t directly work with patients, but patients appreciate her efforts even if they don’t realize what she does. She works hard to make sure Medicaid patients get properly reimbursed. She’s been on our team for 31 years! “I feel like I help, because people don’t choose to get sick, and they don’t need the stress of getting bills on top of being sick,” she said. “If I can get the bills out and get them paid, it helps the patient with that stress, and it also helps us at AnMed to continue to grow and progress so we can help more people. I feel like that’s my part of our care. Olena is a lab tech and the chemistry supervisor at AnMed Cannon. She’s a native of Ukraine who’s been on our team for two years. She says she loves everything about her job. “The most important thing to me is helping patients get better,” she said. Emily is a Williamston native who’s been at AnMed for 19 years. As our diagnostic radiology supervisor, she leads a team that works throughout our system, and she said she’s fortunate to be part of a crew that largely received their radiology training right here at AnMed. “Because so many of us went to school here, we can go anywhere in the hospital and do just about anything,” she said. “That helps the patients. He’s originally from Atlanta but has lived in Anderson since he was 13. He's worked at AnMed for 22 years. “I like to help save lives, coming in and doing a thorough job, because that could be one of my family members on that table,” he said. “That’s how I look at it every night.
