The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce proudly facilitates the Powdersville Business Council (PBC), which is led by a group of nine Advisory Board members. The PBC promotes the well-being of the business, professional and industrial community of the Powdersville area. As part of the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce 76th Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration on March 14, the chamber honored Evan Landreth with Powdersville Water as the recipient of the 2023 Powdersville Advisory Member of the Year. Selected by members of the PBC Advisory Board, this award honors an Advisory Board member who leads by example and has kept others motivated and engaged. In late 2022, Evan Landreth was elected as the 2023 Chair-Elect of the PBC Advisory Board, but little did he know that several months into the year, the current chairman would resign due to a new job opportunity. However, without any hesitation or needed persuasion, Evan immediately stepped into the role of Chairman ... seven months earlier than he had planned. And for the remainder of 2023, he led our PBC Advisory Board with complete commitment and positivity. Evan is recognized by his peers as dedicated and hardworking. He is always willing to step in & offer his help, and always has a smile on his face. He genuinely loves our community and takes great pride in doing whatever he can to make our community better.
