Lt. Ashley Anderson Honored as Women's Alliance Trailblazer of the Year

Sponsored by Amanda McGinty – State Farm Insurance, the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce hosted its 3rd Annual Women’s Alliance Luncheon on September 19 in which several awards were presented to honor women’s leadership and business success.
The Trailblazer of the Year Award recognizes a woman business leader who has enhanced the visibility and importance of women. A Trailblazer is a forerunner who leads by example and has opened the pathways for other women to follow. She is a role model, a forerunner, and an accomplished professional. The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to honor Lt. Ashley Anderson, of the Easley Police Department, as its Women’s Alliance 2024 Trailblazer of the Year.
Lt. Ashley Anderson’s contributions to our community and the police department are exemplary. We all benefit from her service. Not only is she an example of a trailblazer to all women in law enforcement but is also an invaluable asset to the City of Easley. Lt. Anderson serves or volunteers with the Special Olympics Torch Run, Tri-County Law Enforcement Advisory Board, Ambassador for Serve and Connect, Greg’s Grocery, and Salvation Army Board. She was also the most recent recipient of the Capt. Pellici Keeper of the Flame Award.
Lt. Ashley Anderson devotes her time and energy to community outreach with organizations such as Camp Green Wave, Special Olympics, children’s events, and events at the Willows Senior Living Facility. She headgears the Breast Cancer Awareness Unit where she stops at many businesses and events in the month of October to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer. She also plans National Night Out, which is a national annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships. Easley’s next National Night Out is planned by Lt. Ashley Anderson on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, and will include many free giveaways, interactive activities, and businesses. Lt. Ashley Anderson has served as the point person for the Easley Police and Fire Department during the last few years and has helped guide the City of Easley’s media communications through several complex issues over the last few years.
Her thoughtful guidance and commitment to service excellence are wonderful examples of leadership to all and an inspiration to future women trailblazers!
Please join the Easley Chamber Women’s Alliance in honoring Lt. Ashley Anderson as the 2024 Trailblazer of the Year.
