Jennifer Kelly Honored as Women's Alliance Woman of Impact

Sponsored by Amanda McGinty – State Farm Insurance, the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce hosted its 3rd Annual Women’s Alliance Luncheon on September 19 in which several awards were presented to honor women’s leadership and business success.

The Woman of Impact Award recognizes the supporting excellence of a woman in business who excels in her support role for the company in which she works. Behind the scenes, she is dependable and organized. She serves as a steady and consistent force that keeps others on task, and her supporting role serves as inspiration and encouragement to others. The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to honor Jennifer Kelly, Executive Director of WorkLink Workforce Development Board, as its Women’s Alliance 2024 Woman of Impact.

Jennifer Kelly currently serves in the role of Executive Director of the WorkLink Workforce Development Board. Jennifer assumed the role of Executive Director in June of 2023. Before her appointment, Mrs. Kelly served for almost 20 years in a support role to 3 executive directors. Prior to assuming her current role, she oversaw the operations of the four SC Works Centers and the WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker employment and training grant activities in Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties. She supported and coordinated workforce development activities, serving as the liaison to the One Stop Operations Committee.

Mrs. Kelly has extensive experience in developing and sustaining relationships with community partners, through coordination of business service groups and partner initiatives benefiting job seekers in the community. She has served as the backbone of the WorkLink organization for almost two decades, helping guide efforts through a global pandemic and one of the largest economic recessions to be seen since the Great Depression.

Mrs.Kelly has done this while also being a loyal wife, mother and community volunteer. She is also a lifelong Pickens County resident.

Please join the Easley Chamber Women’s Alliance in honoring Jennifer Kelly as the 2024 Woman of Impact.
