As part of the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce 77th Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration on March 13, Jeff Kittle of SERVPRO - Team Harloe was honored as the 2024 Board Director of the Year. Each year, by secret ballot, the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors selects a Director of the Year. This honor recognizes a board member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty...someone who leads by example…someone who has kept others on course and motivated. For any organization’s success, there are many aspects that require oversight and due diligence, but none more important that the role of chairman. Not only did he do one tour of duty as board chairman, Jeff Kittle stepped up to serve as chair when everyone was busy. This ensured a smooth transition and while he did not hesitate to step into the role a second time, little did anyone know that he would be faced with finding a new chamber president. He navigated that task with ease, and and ensured the chamber kept moving forward without any interruption. During his time on the board, Jeff worked closely with Cindy and now Brian to oversee our chamber’s performance. With a true servants heart, he leads by example with excellent meeting attendance, active participation in all of our chamber events & programs, and he’s always willing to pitch in and help whereever and whenever needed.
