The Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce hosted its 78th Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration on March 19, 2026, at The Loom Wedding & Event Venue. Sponsored by Truliant Federal Credit Union, the event honored several businesses and individuals for their leadership and community service. Among those awards, the YMCA of Easley, Pickens, and Powdersville was honored as our 2026 Pillar of the Community recipient which recognizes a long-standing organization that contributes to building a strong foundation for our Easley-Powdersville community and is highly respected as an important stakeholder in making our community resilient, vibrant, and successful. The YMCA of Easley, Pickens, and Powdersville strengthens families, nurtures young people, supports health and wellness, and creates a place where everyone belongs. For generations, the YMCA has been far more than a gym or a building. It has been a gathering place, a haven, a classroom, a playground, and often a lifeline.
